Software Engineering Intern

Goldman Sachs is recruiting Software Engineering Interns for our 10-week summer programme in New York. Interns are embedded in real engineering teams and contribute to production systems from week one — this is not a project-only internship.

You will work on impactful features alongside full-time engineers, receive structured mentorship, and participate in a programme of speaker events and skills workshops. Past interns have worked on trading platforms, risk systems, and developer tooling used by thousands of engineers across the firm.

We are looking for penultimate-year students in Computer Science or a related discipline with strong programming fundamentals and a genuine interest in financial technology. Conversion to a full-time role is available for high performers.
