Python Backend Engineer

Criteo is seeking a Python Backend Engineer on an initial 12-month contract to help build and maintain our data ingestion and event processing pipelines. You will work on systems that handle millions of requests per second, contributing to performance improvements and reliability initiatives.

You will write clean, tested Python code, participate in architecture discussions, and own features through to production deployment. Experience with async Python and distributed systems is important for this role. You will have access to a modern stack including Kafka, Redis, and Kubernetes.

The hybrid schedule requires two to three days per week at our central Paris office. Candidates must be based in France or willing to relocate — Criteo offers relocation support for the right candidate.
