Lead React Developer

Pixel Labs is looking for a Lead React Developer to join as a senior individual contributor on a long-term freelance basis. You will be the primary frontend engineer on a new SaaS product, responsible for architecture decisions, component library design, and implementation across the full frontend surface area.

You will work directly with the founding team, translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect React components, integrate with GraphQL and REST APIs, and establish frontend conventions that the team can build on as the product scales.

This is a high-trust, high-autonomy engagement. We do not micromanage — we look for engineers who take ownership, communicate proactively, and care deeply about the end user experience. Async-first working culture with weekly video syncs.
